I knew it worked but I didn't know how so I asked Jackie, With the help of the ancient ones and your ancestors she replied. My candle had been next to my grandmother's photo, an ol' candlelighter herself. Thank you Nana! A 2.5 x 7.25 candle, sprinkled on top with herbs with a long burning cotton wick.
